Capitalism tells us to monetize every single passion or creative hobby.

As professional or aspiring creatives who are used to scrappily creating our own opportunities (to exist in the same capitalist system) we inevitably lose time and energy trying–and failing–to do ALL THE THINGS, regardless of whether those things/goals have any real value or meaning to us individually.

Somewhere down the lonely (and exhausting) path toward what we expect our success should look like, we begin to realize we’ve lost a lot of the joy and inspiration we set out to cultivate in the first place.

So how do we get those things back?

We CREATE TO CREATE. No strings or goals attached. (And no Etsy shop in sight!)

And we CONNECT TO RECONNECT— building relationships with other creatives who support our unique journeys, understand our personal and/or professional struggles, and challenge/inspire us to continue growing.
